Description
Star Pendant is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII that protects the user from Poison, a status that periodically inflicts Poison-elemental physical damage upon the afflicted unit.

Use[]
Star Pendant is a rather valuable accessory as Poison is a relatively common status effect, although once the player obtains the Fairy Ring, it is advised to use it instead as it provides additional immunity to Darkness. The Poison Ring accessory is also superior to the Star Pendant. The player can also immunize against Poison specifically with Added Effect and Poison in armor.
The earliest the player can obtain a Star Pendant is from the Shinra Bldg., which can be missed but makes the fight against Sample:H0512 slightly easier. The player will soon win one from Motor Ball. Once the player is able to buy Star Pendant, it is advised to buy any additional ones to have on hand.
