'Stand by Me' is one of the greatest songs probably of all time so I was really glad that the game had chosen this song to do. We really wanted to make it our own, bringing it into the world of Florence + The Machine and the world of Final Fantasy XV.

"Stand By Me" is the theme song of Final Fantasy XV. It was performed by the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine. The song was first made famous in 1961 by American soul and R&B singer Ben E. King.
"Stand By Me" features the "Prelude" in its background instrumentation, and it plays in all versions of Final Fantasy XV.[2] The song expresses the gratitude Noctis Lucis Caelum feels towards his friends and cannot find the words to express.[3]
"Stand By Me" was released on the Songs from Final Fantasy XV EP on August 12, 2016.
