Stadia is the name of a cloud-based gaming service from Google that debuted in November 2019. Similar in concept to G-Cluster, Stadia allows players to stream and play select games on a range of devices. As well, the service supports modern video standards such as HDR color balancing and framerates of up to 60 FPS.
Stadia services do not require the purchase of any Google hardware. There is an optional paid subscription called Stadia Pro, although it is not required to purchase or play games on Stadia.
