Stadia is the name of a cloud-based gaming service from Google that debuted in November 2019. Similar in concept to G-Cluster, Stadia allows players to stream and play select games on a range of devices. As well, the service supports modern video standards such as HDR color balancing and framerates of up to 60 FPS.
Stadia services require the purchase of a Google Chromecast Ultra streaming dongle, provided with a customized gamepad. At present, services are only available to paid subscribers, with gratis membership still in development.
