The Imperial Airforce flying MagiTek Armor 2. Paired in a unit with Sky Armor. Uses the Absolute 0 attack.
Bestiary entry (PS)
The Spitfire, formerly named Spit Fire and SpitFire, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. It is part of the Imperial Air Force and attacks the Blackjack to stop the Returners from reaching the Floating Continent.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Spitfire has a 1/3 chance of using Absolute Zero every turn, a powerful Ice-elemental attack. If left alone, it uses Diffractive Laser instead, which is Lightning-elemental and also does high damage. As it is fought on the way to the Floating Continent, Spitfires always attack in a pincer attack with one or two Sky Armor. Locke can steal valuable Elixirs from them.
Strategy[]
It is recommended to cast Thundara on them, or have Mog use his Wind Song Dance.
