Spinal Cleave is a Blue Magic spell learned from Qutrubs in Final Fantasy XI. It deals slashing damage. Accuracy varies with TP. It costs 4 Blue Magic Points to set. When set, it grants VIT +2, INT +1, and MND +1. It ignores Utsusemi and damages target without removing Utsusemi. It takes .5 seconds to cast and can be recast every 28.5 seconds. It can be set alongside certain spells to create the Attack Bonus trait.
Spinal Cleave is also an enemy ability used by the Qutrub family.
