Spider Web, also known as Web, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It usually inflicts Slow status on a party member. There is also a variation of web that inflicts Stop. It is often used by bug or arachnid enemies.

Spider Web is used by the Mystery Ninja, and inflicts Slow on a target. Stop Web is used by Kimara Bug and inflicts Stop.
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-[]
Spider Web is used by Guard Spider and similar enemies, and inflicts Stop status on Zack.
Final Fantasy VIII[]
Sticky Web is used by Caterchipillar. It inflicts Stop on a party member.
Final Fantasy XI[]
Spider Web is an enemy ability that entangles all targets in an area of effect, causing Slow status. It is used by the Spider family. It is also an unused Blue Magic that was displayed in a pre-release trailer for Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan, and still exists in the game's data files, but players can't learn it.
