Spee is a Rare Game enemy found in the Salikawood in Final Fantasy XII. It can rarely be poached into a Claymore.
Spee is found in the Sun Dappled Path area in the Salikawood. There is a 15% chance it will spawn when a Wyrdhare is defeated, but only shows up when the party gets close. There are three possible spawn sites, all dead ends. If it will not appear after all Wyrdhares have been defeated, the party must move two zones away and try again.
It also appears in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode in Stage 69 upon approaching the other end of the stage where it yields some special spoils: Cat-ear Hood (rare drop and poach), and Elixir (very rare drop).
Bestiary entry[]
Derivation: Mu
- Mu transformed by energies drawn from the thick-growing vegetation around it. This strain, as yet unrecorded in the Camp annals, is hunted in the Salikawood.

Etymology[]
The origin of the name is not clear, possibly it is an incorrect translation of the Japanese name which means spy, since the monster is hidden and does not appear until another one is defeated. Curiously, close to this name there is the term Supieh in Bidayuh Bau language which means "to be left behind". Additionally, its name could derive from speed, as Dreamhares tend to flee.
