The Spear is the second-weakest spear-type weapon that provides 11 attack, 55% accuracy, and 2% evasion. It can be purchased in Bafsk for 200 gil (500 gil on the NES and PlayStation).
Final Fantasy IV[edit | edit source]
The Spear is Kain's initial weapon. It has 9 power, 45 accuracy, and is metallic equipment. It can be purchased at Agart for 60 gil.
In the 3D versions, it has an attack power of 10 with an accuracy of 80 with the same properties as the 2D versions. Kain can equipped this spear.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[edit | edit source]
The Spear provides 9 attack, 50% accuracy, and costs 60 gil. It can be equipped by Ceodore, Zangetsu, Kain, and Golbez. It can be purchased in Edge's Tale in the Dwarven Castle.
Final Fantasy V[edit | edit source]
The Spear is the weakest spear-type weapon providing 22 attack power, a hit rate of 25, and increasing Speed by 2. It can be stolen from the Shell Bear.
Final Fantasy VII[edit | edit source]
The Spear is Cid's initial weapon. It has 44 power, 97 hit rate, increases Magic by 8, and has four Materia slots in two linked pairs. It can be purchased in Rocket Town and in Junon (discs 2/3) for 1,600 gil.
Final Fantasy X[edit | edit source]
The Spear is the lowest-powered spear for Kimahri Ronso, only providing a single ability slot.
Final Fantasy XI[edit | edit source]
Spear is a polearm that provides 34 damage and 396 delay. It deals 5.15 damage per second and accumulates 102 TP pet hit. It can be equipped by level 24 Warrior, Paladin, Samurai, and Dragoon. It can be bought for 15,876 - 18,345 gil from Khifo Ryuhkowa in Kazham (H-9) and Tavourine in Northern San d'Oria (E-4) and Chaupire (E-3). It can also be bought for 84 Sparks of Eminence from Isakoth in Bastok Markets (E-11), Rolandienne in Southern San d'Oria (G-10), Fhelm Jobeizat in Windurst Woods (J-10), and Eternal Flame in Western Adoulin (H-11).
Final Fantasy XII[edit | edit source]
The Spear is the second-weakest spear. It has 36 attack, a 4% combo rate, and requires the Spears 1 License to equip. It can be purchased in Rabanastre for 2,200 gil.
In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 26 Attack, 8 Evade, 28 CT, 4% combo rate, and requires the Spears 1 license for 20 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Bhujerba, Dreadnought Leviathan for 1,300 gil.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[edit | edit source]
The Spear is Llyud's default weapon. It has 20 attack, 10 magick attack, and a weapon speed of 60. It can also be bought in Tomaj's Sky Saloon shop for 300 gil in Chapter 3.
Final Fantasy Tactics[edit | edit source]
The most commonly used type of spear. Distinguished by its especially long reach.
Description
The Spear has 9 power and 10% weapon def. Only Dragoons can equip it, or any job with the Equip Polearm ability. It costs 2,000 gil. It can be bought in chapter two after meeting with Cardinal Delacroix at Lionel Castle and is a rare treasure at the first battle in Mining Town of Gollund.

A simple weapon consisting of a sharp metal point at the end of a long shaft. Spears and other polearms like them add a power modifier when attacking multiple foes at once.

Spear is a spear that provides 4 P.ATK, 90 Aim, and 2 Critical. It is initially equipped on Ringabel. It can be found in found in Lontano Villa, or stolen from Sky Pikeman.

A simple weapon consisting of a sharp metal point at the end of a long shaft. Spears and similar polearms are well suited to attacking multiple foes at once.

Spear is a spear that provides 8 P.ATK, 90 Aim, and deals 50% more damage to undead. It can be bought in Gathelatio for 80 pg.
