Southern Cross, (サザンクロス, Sazan Kurosu?) also known as Star Cross and S. Cross, is a recurring enemy ability and ability. It typically deals elemental damage to all enemies, though the element differs depending on the game. It has appeared as a Fire attack, as an Ice, as well as an ability for the Illusionist dealing Holy damage.

Appearances

Final Fantasy VI

Template:Sideicon Southern Cross makes its debut as an enemy ability. It deals Fire-elemental damage to all enemies. Its spell power is 120 and its Hit Rate is 120. It ignores Split Damage, and costs 20 MP. It is used by Fiend Dragon, Kaiser Dragon, Red Dragon, Great Dragon, Demon, Tiger, Prometheus, and Ultima Buster.

Final Fantasy VII

Template:Sideicon Southern Cross is a physical attack which deals Ice damage to all enemies. It is used by the Ancient Dragon.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Template:Sideicon Star Cross is an ability used by the Illusionist, usable if the Princess Rod is equipped. It deals Holy damage to all enemies. It costs 300 AP to master, 32 MP to use and has 17 MPower.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift

Template:Sideicon Star Cross returns, once again usable by the Illusionist. It hits all enemies with Holy damage. It requires 300 AP to master and costs 28 MP to use.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper

Template:Sideicon Souther Cross is based on its Final Fantasy VI appearance. However, it only targets one foe with Fire damage, while when used by Abyss Ultima Buster, targets the whole party.
