A rank-and-file soldier of the Empire. Be ready for the occasional Rush attack.

Final Fantasy VI PlayStation Bestiary entry

The Soldier, also known as Grunt, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI fought in the Imperial Camp. It has no in-game bestiary entry. Soldier's sprite was identical to Imperial Soldier until the 2014 Matrix Software releases, where its sprite was shaded differently and given a dimmer palette.

The only thing these enemies do is attack the party with physical attacks. They do not pose much of a threat. They will die as long as the player's characters are in the front row and use normal attacks.
