FFX Slowga

Slowga, in Final Fantasy X.

Slowga (スロウガ, Surouga?), also known as Slow 2 and Slowra, is a more powerful version of the Time Magic spell, Slow, in the Final Fantasy series. It inflicts the Slow status to all targets in range, forcing them to act more infrequently.

Final Fantasy V[]

Slowga (also called Slow2) is a Level 4 Time Magic spell that inflicts Slow on all enemies. It can be bought for 3,000 gil from Regole, Castle of Bal, Quelb, and Surgate Castle and costs 9 MP to cast. Slowga can be cast by Black Warlock, Chrono Controller, Enuo, Fury, and Atomos.

Final Fantasy VI[]

Slowga (also called Slow 2) is an effect spell, that can be learned from the esper Quetzalli. It costs 26 MP to cast, has a hit rate of 150, is vulnerable to Runic, and inflicts all opponents with slow. Slowga can be cast by Level 60 Magic, Magic, and Neslug.

Final Fantasy X[]

Slowga is available in Tidus's section of the Sphere Grid and costs 20 MP to cast. Slowga targets the entire enemy party. Slowga can be cast by Defender X, Mortiorchis, and Penance's Left Arm.

Final Fantasy X-2[]

Slowga appears in the International and HD Remaster version. It only appears in the Fiend Arena, cast by Duo and Seymour.

Slowga is a Blood Pact ability for Leviathan. It inflicts slow on enemies within area of effect. Leviathan's TP does not affect Slowga, nor will it be consumed when he uses Slowga.

Leviathan's Slowga is considered a job ability, meaning that Silence does not prevent Leviathan from using it or the Summoner from commanding Leviathan to use it. However, if either the Summoner or Leviathan has Amnesia, Slowga cannot be used.

Final Fantasy XII[]

Slowga inflicts Slow to enemies in range and is available for purchase at Balfonheim. In the original version, it is a Time Magick 7 license, costs 10,400 gil after Bahamut appears, and uses 24 MP to cast.

In the Zodiac versions, Slowga is a Time Magick 9 license learned by the Machinist and Time Battlemage job classes, although Machinist must obtain the license for Esper Famfrit first. The spell is bought for 7000 gil after the events in Draklor Laboratory.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]

Slowga is learned by Ashe, Gijuk at level 5, and enemy Time Mages. It inflicts Slow on a small radius of enemies.

Final Fantasy XIII[]

Reduce ATB gauge recharge rate and deal magic damage within a wide radius.

Description

Slowga is a Saboteur ability that deals magic damage to all targets and may apply the Slow status, with a base chance of 24%. It has an ATB cost of 3. It can be learned by Snow (stage 9), Hope (stage 8), and Fang (stage 5).

It is also an enemy ability used by Gelatitan.

Final Fantasy XIII-2[]

Slowga is an enemy ability that deals magic damage to all targets and may apply the Slow status. It is used by Black Chocobo and Valfodr Lv. 99.

Slowga reduces speed of all enemies. It can be used in Multiplayer mode. It can be used by piling Life with either Fire, Thunder, or Blizzard with Fire, Thunder, or Blizzard.

It is also an enemy ability used by Goblin King and Malboro.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates[]

Slowga decreases movement and attack speed of nearby enemies. It lasts longer than Slow. It is cast by piling Blizzara +1 and Cleara +1. The effect last for a long period of time.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time[]

Slowga decreases movement and attack speed of nearby enemies. It lasts longer than Slow. It can be cast by stacking two Blizzard and two Clear.

Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]

Slowga is a status effect magic. There are three types of Slowga spells available and each version inflicts the slow status for a certain amount of turns and the delay status for a single turn.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[]

Slowga is an unlockable common EX Skill. The caster launches a blue projectile that detonates with a blast radius, dealing minor damage and reducing the user's run and dash speed.
