Slow-numb is a status in Final Fantasy VII that only enemies can inflict. Characters with Slow-numb are petrified after 60 seconds. The effect runs faster if the unit has Haste, slower when they have Slow, and is halted when the unit has Stop. The effect runs during battle animations if the battle mode is set to Active. The other timed ailment in the game is Death-sentence. Both Death-sentence and Slow-numb are more dangerous in slow Battle Speed settings.
Slow-numb is one of the ailments that affects Tifa's Master Fist's damage tripling the damage while stacking with other ailment on her as well.
Abilities[]
The player does not have access to abilities that inflict Slow-numb. However, White Wind's effect is reversed on undead targets, typically petrifying them outright.

Enemies[]
The following enemies are immune to Slow-numb; however, this has no real effect on gameplay as the player has no abilities with which to inflict Slow-numb, anyway. All bosses except Dark Nation and Sample:H0512-opt are immune to Slow-numb.
Use[]
The only way for the player to make use of the Slow-numb status is either through inflicting Confusion or Manipulate and using an ability through an enemy that can inflict the status, such as Gagighandi. Since battles end pretty quickly, the status is mostly ignorable.
The one time the player should beware the status is in Battle Square when Gagighandis appear there, as the timer continues from round to round; the player is best healing it.
