Description
The sleek saber is a weapon for Cloud in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It starts with three unlinked materia slots, and teaches Cloud the Firebolt Blade ability, which deals 
Fire and 
Lightning damage in one move. The weapon has attributes leaning slightly toward physical damage, and weapon skills geared to damage output.
Obtained[]
The sleek saber is found in a treasure chest at the Abandoned Dock in the Grasslands Region. This is first visited in the main scenario in chapter 2, "A New Journey Begins". It is also later sold for 3,000 gil in shops if the player did not get it at the dock.

The sleek saber is a balanced weapon that leans more toward physical damage, but with its weapon skills leans to damage output of all kinds. It provides a slightly higher boost to Attack Power and Magic Attack, giving the second-highest attack power boost but second-lowest magic attack boost, albeit still a respectable one. Cloud's potential strengths as a physical attacker make the weapon a good choice, coming at a slight cost to his magic damage potential.
The sleek saber's weapon skills specialize in damage output. Its ultimate weapon skill is Weapon Ability ATB Recovery, allowing Cloud to use his abilities more frequently.
Compared to 
Igneous Saber, which heavily specializes in physical damage, sleek saber is more balanced with a greater magic attack but a lower attack power boost. Which players choose will depend on preference for weapon abilities, or how much or little the player uses Cloud for magic damage. For more balanced options, Buster Sword and Umbral Blade are both more balanced, but with smaller boosts, and more varied and defensive-focused weapon skills.
