Slaying Tail in Final Fantasy VIII.

This whip, the Slaying Tail, is known for its tremendous speed and power. It is named after Sleipner, the horse of the legendary GF Odin.

Slaying Tail (スレイプニルテイル, Sureipuniru Teiru?, lit. Sleipnir Tail), also known as Slepinir's Tail or Sleipnir, is a recurring whip in the Final Fantasy series.

Slaying Tail is the second weapon for Quistis, purchased by using Magic Stone x2, a Sharp Spike, and 200 gil. It provides 15 Attack and 104 Hit Rate.

Final Fantasy Type-0[]

Sleipnir Tail is a weapon for Seven. It provides 10 Attack. It is a reward for "Thwarting the Royal Ambush" (S-Rank on Officer difficulty) or as a Special Order for the "Operation MA Demolition" (secure the lab before researchers can sound the alarm, using active leader). It sells for 180 gil.
