Slafswys Helbloefwyn is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. She is a recruit of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
History[]
Slafswys was a member of the Yellowjackets in Limsa Lominsa. She had a sister, who was a member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
Her sister died during the attack of the Garlean Empire led by Livia Junius to the Waking Sands. Inspired by her sister's bravery, Slafswys left the Yellowjackets to join the Scions, although she kept in contact with her former organization and the Maelstrom. She seeks allies to pre-emptively strike the Kobolds, and tasks the Warrior of light with sending a letter to Bloeidin in order to assist with that.
After the Scions disbanded following the events of Endwalker, she returned to the Waking Sands, to pay respect to her sister and those that fell during the attack of the Garlean Empire.

Slafwys is a Sea Wolf Roegadyn with short white hair, dark skin, and red eyes. She wears a mustard yellow Linen Shirt, with Spiked Leather armguards, black pants, and boarskin thighboots. In battle she wields the double sided axe called the Spiked Mythril Labrys.
Personality[]
Slafswys respects Bloeidin but believes that what truly calls a pirate to the sea is freedom and that is something the Maelstrom can't offer a pirate. She hopes that others answer the call to freedom to confirm that her decision to leave the Yellowjackets was the right one. Out of habit she occasionally returns to the Waking Sands out of habit.
