The Skeleton Ω is an enemy in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. It is a Last One encountered when there is only one Skeleton left after 60 of their species have been felled.

This enemy's defeat is needed to complete the quest "Skeletons in the Closet" quest. Defeating the Skeleton Ω earns the Bonecracker weapon.

Battle

Blood Sword.

Skeleton Ω uses Blood Sword to steal HP from the player, as well as inflict them with Slow and Curse. It also bestows Bravery on itself.

Strategy

The player should inflict it with Deprotect, Deshell, and Slow. Equipping the Pretty Orb will protect her from being inflicted with Slow. Wind attacks are best for staggering the skeleton. Lightning can use Overclock once its stagger period ends to quickly refill her ATB gauges. If the Skeleton Ω casts Bravery on itself, Lightning should use the Battleaxe of the Believer, Bandit Scarf, Mage Hunter's Mask, or Warrior Hunter's Mask to steal the buff for herself.
