Silicon Studio Co., Ltd. (シリコンスタジオ株式会社, Shirikon Sutadio kabushikigaisha?) is a video game company based in Tokyo, Japan. Originally founded in 2000 specifically as a middleware developer, the studio would later begin production on their own original titles beginning with Onore no Shinzuru Michi o Yuke in 2009 and 3D Dot Game Heroes in 2010. They have cooperated with Square Enix to produce the Final Fantasy spin-off Bravely Default for the Nintendo 3DS. Their Motion Portrait middleware was used for Final Fantasy Agito.[1]
