Silicon Studio Co., Ltd. (シリコンスタジオ株式会社, Shirikon Sutadio kabushikigaisha?) is a video game company based in Tokyo, Japan. Originally founded in 2000 specifically as a middleware developer, the studio would later begin production on their own original titles beginning with Onore no Shinzuru Michi o Yuke in 2009 and 3D Dot Game Heroes in 2010. They have cooperated with Square Enix to produce the Final Fantasy adjacent Bravely Default for the Nintendo 3DS. Their Motion Portrait middleware was used for Final Fantasy Agito.[1]
