Etymology[]
サイレス (Sairesu?, lit. Silece) is the Japanese name of the Silence spell. The name derives from the transliteration of the word "silence" into Japanese (サイレンス, sairensu?), but with the ン (n?) removed to follow the four-character Japanese naming scheme for spells.
The word "buster" means a person who breaks up something, e.g. crime busters, or something big or unusual for its kind. It derives from the verb "bust".
