Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy description
Shoulder Tackle (タックル, Takkuru?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy XI[]
Shoulder Tackle is a hand-to-hand weapon skill. When used, the ability will deal a single hitting attack and has a chance of inflicting stun to the target. The chances of stunning depends on the amount of TP the player currently has saved up when using the skill. It requires a combat skill of 40. It provides the modifiers VIT: 100%. It can skillchain into Impaction and Reverberation.
Legacy Final Fantasy XIV[]
Shoulder Tackle appeared after the release of Patch 1.21. It was a Monk ability available after completing the Level 30 job quest. When used, the player would unleash a charging attack to target and had a chance to inflict Stun if the target had no enmity towards the user.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Shoulder Tackle appeared as a Monk weaponskill available after completing the level 35 Monk quest "Insulted Intelligence". It unleashed a charging attack with a potency of 100 to a single target up to 20 yalms away and inflicted Stun for 2 seconds. It could not be executed while the user was bound.
The trait Tackle Mastery learned at Level 66 granted additional effects to Shoulder Tackle depending on which Fists status was active.
- Fists of Earth: Converted Shoulder Tackle into Earth Tackle, added Knockback, reduced range by 10 yalms.
- Fists of Wind: Converted Shoulder Tackle into Wind Tackle, Allowed for an immediate second Tackle, halved damage.
- Fists of Fire: Converted Shoulder Tackle into Fire Tackle, increased damage dealt.
Tackle Mastery was replaced with Enhanced Tackle, with the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, which allowed Shoulder Tackle to have multiple charges and be performed multiple times.
With the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Monk was reworked and Shoulder Tackle and its associated traits were removed entirely, with the gap-closing functionality being given to the new action Thunderclap.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]
Shoulder Tackle is a Bravery attack for Prishe, which costs 20 CP to equip (10 CP if mastered), 150 AP to master, has low melee priority, deals physical damage, and is learned at level 29. It can also be used as a combo from another Bravery attack, where it can induce Wall Rush.
