This undead uses Figaro Tea and Flare.
Final Fantasy VI PlayStation Bestiary entry
Shambling Corpse, otherwise known as the Karkass, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI fought in Zone Eater's Belly.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Its special attack, Figaro Malt, inflicts Imp on its target, and it has a 33% chance to use the attack on each turn. Its magic counterattacks are powerful, and it counters physical attacks with Lifeshaver.
Strategy[]
It is safer to use normal attacks against them, though it will still counter with Lifeshaver. Equipping Fire- and
Holy-elemental weapons is advised. Rasp can also prevent it from using its magical abilities.
Coliseum setup[]
Break, Thundaga, and Flare are all reflectable, so a Reflect Ring is the easiest way to take care of the majority of the enemy's offense and help the player at the same time. This leaves a physical attack that can be taken care of by having high Evasion and/or high Defense.
