Shalze Ovis stands in stark contrast with her sisters. Both sociopathic and self-centered, Shalze is the most diabolical of the trio as she pursues personal gain regardless of the cost. Concerned only with herself and what benefits her the most, Shalze has no qualms about exploiting anything and anybody to achieve her goals. Not even family is considered a high price to pay for her own gain, showing sadistic delight in ridding herself of any competitors to the wealth of the throne and the kingdom.
Shalze has little care for anything else but power and material gain, caring nothing for her subjects. Scheming and calculating, Shalze is an unrepentant liar and pathologically pleonetic, putting the facade of a patriotic individual concerned for her nation, and a self-sacrificing martyr, willing to risk her own life for her nation, if only to further fuel her own hold on power. A psychopath at heart, Shalze is exceptionally skilled at deception, being able to conceal her rotten nature from even her own family, which she exploited to convince her sisters to travel to request help from other nations against the assault of Rundall, being fully aware that such an endeavor would lead to their deaths due to the encirclement, while she pretended to hold the fort. Shalze herself felt no guilt and even laughed privately at the trustful nature of her sisters, while having feigned distress beforehand.
Capricious and spoiled, Shalze is so attached to what she considers her rightful property that she cannot stomach leaving behind anything she deems of importance, developing a petty but absurdly disproportionate grudge towards Sadali Crysthea, her ally and sponsor for giving her orders that were against her own immediate gain. For all her schemes and machinations, Shalze is at heart a coward who needs others to do the fight for her, usually in the form of Visions or monsters she can easily control. She has gone as far manipulating Oberon Heindler, feigning love towards the young regent, being aware of his personal vulnerabilities and need for emotional support all in a desperate ploy to save her skin and get back at her foes.
