Shadowsmith is the main antagonist from Final Fantasy Record Keeper. Appearing first to investigate the Magicite Dungeons for the Arcanium, Shadowsmith would soon assist Tyro and Elarra with their work against memory bursts happening across the world in the Record Dungeons.

Along the way, however, it is revealed that he was the cause of these memory bursts and had framed Doctor Mog for it. Aligning himself with the hooded figures that elude the team, Shadowsmith's reasons for his betrayal are unknown but he continues to oppose Tyro and the Royal Archives.
