Seymour's Staff (シーモアの杖, Shīmoa no Tsue?), also known as Seymour Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is the personal weapon of Seymour Guado.

It can be upgraded to rarity 7 where it provides a minimum of 81 Attack, 108 Magic, and 24 Magic, a maximum of 135 Attack, 162 Magic, and 168 HP, and Limit Break +3000.

Description

Seymour's Staff (FFX) is the Super Trust Master Reward for Seymour. It increases the user's MAG and SPR by 180. This two-handed staff also increases evoke damage and EVO MAG by 25%, has a damage range of 125% - 175%, and increases the user's accuracy by 50%.

Etymology[]

Seymour is an English name derived from a location from Northern France (meaning Saint Maur). The Latin ancestor of the word is maur, meaning "dark skinned", and originated from the use as a title by Norman Noblemen who conquered parts of Great Britain in 1066.
