The Sewer is a location inside the city of Midgar in Final Fantasy VII. It is located underneath Wall Market and connects to the Train Graveyard.

Story

After falling for Don Corneo's trap, Cloud and company are thrust into the sewers, whereupon they are assaulted by Corneo's pet, Aps. After defeating Aps, Tifa loses hope in Sector 7's plate still being intact, but is reassured by Aeris that it is not too late in saving everyone. They find a way out and emerge in the Train Graveyard.

Locations

This sewer is beneath Sector 6 and Sector 7. The sewer is split into two screens.

Sector 6

The Sector 6 portion of the sewers is entered from a trap door in Corneo Hall - Bedroom.

Sector 7

The Sector 7 portion of the sewers comes out beneath Train Graveyard - South.

Date mechanics

The game has a hidden affection value that determines whom Cloud takes out on a date in Gold Saucer later. The outcome is determined by the dialogue and party member choices made prior to that point.

When the party lands in the sewer:

  • Talk to Aeris first (+3 Aeris)
  • Talk to Tifa first (+3 Tifa)
