Sea Floor is a location in Final Fantasy V in both Galuf's world and the merged world. It is an underwater cave that leads to an island in Galuf's world, and to Istory Falls on the merged world. It is reached via submarine, and passed through to fight Catoblepas in the forest outside the cave.
History
One of the librarians from Surgate Castle visited the area and fought Catoblepas, barely escaping with his life.[1]

It connects directly to a remote island on Galuf's world, and in the merged world, it connects to an area beneath the western continent, eventually leading to a valley toward Istory Falls. The cave itself is a very brief path to a mountain exit.

The player can reach it the Sea Floor in Galuf's world once they have acquired the submarine from Xezat Matias Surgate. The main reason to visit the Sea Floor is to fight Catoblepas in Galuf's world, gaining a strong summon.
The Sea Floor is a great spot for level grinding, especially with Blue Mage. Both Druid and Ironback are susceptible to Level 4 Graviga, which can be followed by Aqua Breath or a similar attack that targets all enemies. This is an excellent way to master many jobs or gain levels quickly (as compared to grinding in the Castle of Bal basement, where farming Objet d'Art only levels jobs). This is still true in the merged world, making it a worth a visit in either world.
