Scylla is a boss fought at Forbidden Land Eureka, and must be defeated in order to obtain the Elder Staff. In the NES version, she fights using high-level magic such as Holy and Flare, but in the Nintendo DS version, is more dangerous due to being able to inflict Petrify with her regular attacks and the addition of Curaja and Thundaga spells.
The Scylla is a Tier 5 gorgon, and is a possible monster that the party's monster unit(s) can transform into. It can be found while scaling the exterior of the Tower.

Greek mythology, Scylla was a horrible sea monster with four eyes, six long necks equipped with grisly heads, each of which contained three rows of sharp teeth.
