
Scintilla in Dissidia Final Fantasy.
Scintilla (閃光 or せんこう, Senkō?, lit. Glint) is a recurring ability associated with Sephiroth. It consists first of a guard against attacks, then swings the sword to hit the opponent with multiple strikes, before a second swipe hits them over a large horizontal area.

Sephiroth uses Scintilla as one of his powerful sword moves: He takes a preparation stance. and when any party member attacks him, will block and launch multiple attacks.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[edit | edit source]

Dissidia Final Fantasy (2008)[edit | edit source]
Scintilla is a ground HP attack which deals physical damage, and is made available to Sephiroth immediately from level 1. It has Block and Wall Rush effects, and costs 40 CP to equip (20 when mastered), 300 AP to master, and has priorities of Block Mid, Melee Mid and Melee High.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]
Scintilla is an attack for Sephiroth. It costs 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered), 130 AP to master and has no priority of Melee Mid.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[edit | edit source]
Scintilla is Sephiroth's default HP attack. It remains unchanged from its depiction in the PSP games.
Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade[edit | edit source]
Scintilla is available as two ability cards of Sephiroth, one of SR rarity, the other of SR+ rarity.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit | edit source]
Scintilla appears as Sephiroth's B Down move. While it appears and functions identically to its Dissidia version, the barrier can be broken by a strong attack. The attack can also be triggered without having to block an attack first.
