Schrodinger is an enemy in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII fought in Yusnaan Warehouse District and Patron's Palace and in the Temple Ruins of the Dead Dunes. One is found in the Central Avenue in Yusnaan and drops a Civet Musk needed for the "Family Food" quest. Its monster notes can be bought from the Reveler's Quarter.

Stats[]

  1. When staggered

Battle[]

Schrodinger is protected by its pot unless staggered, and physical attacks are ineffective when it is in that state. It can use Cura to heal itself. Its Icespark can be dangerous; if not guarded against, it can kill in one hit early in the game. Schrodinger uses Icespark usually after recovering from stagger.

Schrodinger is the only enemy in the game whose material/accessory drop is not guaranteed even when staggered; they at times drop nothing.

Strategy[]

It is best to stagger Schrodinger with magic, and then attack with physical attacks when it's vulnerable. The player should aim to kill Schrodinger in one stagger as it tends to counterattack with its Icespark attack if it recovers.
