The Scan Technician is a member of the staff involved with the science of Bio-Etherics in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. He is voiced by Dwight Schultz.
First appearing operating the security checkpoint when Aki Ross and the Deep Eyes enter the New York Barrier City, he next appears when General Douglas Hein orders the arrest of Aki, Dr. Sid, and the Deep Eyes squadron. The behind the scenes staff notes that this technician was venomous towards Aki for bypassing his checkpoint.
He is last seen during the Fall of the New York Barrier City, falling victim to a Phantom.
