Satan Slam in Final Fantasy VII.

Satan Slam (サタンインパクト, Satan Inpakuto?, lit. Satan Impact) is a recurring ability in the series. It is a Limit Break used by Vincent Valentine.

Final Fantasy VII[edit | edit source]

Satan Slam is one of two abilities that is used by Vincent during his Chaos Limit Break. It instantly kills all enemies, and any enemy immune to Instant Death will instead take non-elemental damage equal to 558 times the power of Vincent's normal attack.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call[edit | edit source]

Satan Slam is an exclusive reactive ability that costs 18 CP to equip. It is activated in Battle Music Sequences (BMS) when a boss-class enemy appears. It deals damage in direct proportion to Magic. It is learned by Vincent (level 40).

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Satan comes from a Hebrew ha-Satan which means "the accuser." It is the name of the Devil in Abrahamic religions. Satan is also one of the seven princes of Hell in Christian Demonology. He is attributed the deadly sin of Wrath.
