The crown princess of Palamecia, and the last of her bloodline.
Even while Palamecia is on the brink of doom, her steadfast and gentle demeanor gives her people hope. Her own hope at salvation rests on the appearance of a prophesied hero, the 'Warrior of Light.'

Official site description

Sarah Cornelia [sɛrə] is a character from Mobius Final Fantasy. She is the princess of the royal family of Palamecia.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Sarah is a young woman with short blond hair. She wears a short white dress with gold trim and high collar. Her dress has a black midsection and black straps wrapped around her body. She has elbow length with fingerless gloves that attach to her middle finger. She wears black garter tights and boots with a gold clasp.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Like most inhabitants of Palamecia, Sarah strongly believes in the prophecy, doing everything in her power to let it be fulfilled. As an only known royal to be alive who is also a part of the said prophecy, Sarah carries a heavy burden, yet she gives hope to the people with her encouraging words. Blanks rely heavily on Sarah's presence resulting in their poor performance and unwillingness to live whenever she goes missing. Despite many prophesized "Warriors of Light" roaming the land of Palamecia, she has developed a deep bond with Wol, much to his dismay. The bond she tries to tighten between the two of them is likely the result of the prophecy that involves the duo. Serah keeps certian parts of the prophecy hidden from Wol in order to keep him from straying from his path as he would probably do knowing about the dangers and consequences ahead of him.

Story[edit | edit source]

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Mog leads Wol to the lower levels of the Runic Temple where the duo encounters a large crystal. The moogle asks the Blank to touch it and in doing so an image of Sarah appears inside. The girl introduces herself as the princess of Cornelia and speaks briefly of a prophecy. She asks Wol if he'll accept it and when the man agrees she bestows upon him a power of the House Cornelia and soon after disappears. Mog elaborates that the given power is teleporting and that the princess is in a far away place, but using the newly obtained power will prove useful in reaching her.

When Wol finally reaches Sarah's castle, and drives back the forces of Chaos assaulting it, he is able to meet her face to face. Sarah reveals that the final part of the prophecy of the Warrior of Light states that after defeating Chaos, the Warrior of Light is destined to wed her. She explains that she had always been worried about that portion of the prophecy, but after meeting Wol, she would be happy if it were him. When it comes time for Wol to move on to the next region, she declares that she will wait for him to return. However, she surprises him by meeting him at the Teleport Stone, stating that if she is going to have to wait for him to defeat Chaos, she would rather do it by his side than at the castle Though he is initially taken aback, Wol accepts her as a companion, and they use the Teleport Stone to leave the region together.

In a post-credits scene, Sarah is apparently being transported to another world, and subsequently encased in crystal alongside Wol and Meia.

Spoilers end here.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

The name Sarah, (שָׂרָה in Hebrew) the Hebrew name for "princess", or a woman of high rank.

Cornelia is a feminine form of the name Cornelius, which is possibly derived from the Latin word cornu which means "horn".

Sarah continues the tradition of princesses named "Sarah". Her family name, Cornelia, derives from the city of same name in the original Final Fantasy, homeland of the first princess Sarah.
