Restores HP. It cannot be used in the field. Equip as an Add-on.

Description

Sapphire is an item and an Add-on obtained by synthesizing it on disc 4 at Daguerreo, Black Mage Village, or Memoria at Hades for 200 gil, an Ore, and an Antidote. It teaches the abilities Fenrir and High Tide, and when used as an item, restores HP equal to the number of Sapphires in the player's inventory x76.

The more Sapphire in the player's inventory, the more powerful Fenrir's Terrestrial Rage and Millennial Decay abilities are, as per the formulae below:

Description

Sapphire is a synthesis item used to make Sapphire Earring, Jeweled Collar, Sapphire Earring, Barone Zucchetto, Sapphire Ring, Sha'ir Manteel, Sapphire Ring, and Winged Plaque. It is dropped by Chukwa, Adze, Gancanagh, Quetzalli, and Minhocao. It can be obtained from the "Targeting the Captain" quest.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[edit | edit source]

Sapphire is a high-ranked Blue Gemstone that can be Scavenged from Sparkling Stone on Tormelados, Isle of the Megalith and Tswarra, Isle of the Lost or bought at the Sky Saloon in Chapter 8 for 4050 gil (10% discount). It can be used to craft Silver Staff, Rime Wand, Ice Lance, and Rigel.

Sapphire is a gemstone variety of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide. It is the birthstone for September.
