Sandy is a fire-elemental Eidolon that appears in Final Fantasy Dimensions II. There are three versions of Sandy available in the game for Wrieg; the first version that teaches Reflect abilities, a second variant that teaches Magic Boost abilities, and a third version that teaches Geirskogul abilities. All versions of Sandy are obtained as first time completion rewards for clearing a specific floor in Babil Tower.

All versions of Sandy provide average stats for Wrieg at the moment they can be obtained from Babil Tower. Despite that, the third version of Sandy is one of Wrieg's strongest signets at the time it becomes available, giving him access to the Geirskogul ability and the unlockable passive to increase Wrieg's overall damage output with spears by 16%.

Profile[]

Sandy is the second sister and leader of the Magus Sisters, a trio of bosses that originally appeared in Final Fantasy IV in the Tower of Zot. Similar to her original Final Fantasy IV appearance; Sandy in all her signet artworks is represented as the tallest of her sisters, and her artworks depicts each version of her wielding a spear as her main weapon.

Like the other Magus Sister summons, Sandy's Razzia special attack is named after her unique ability from her Final Fantasy X appearance.

Battle[]

The first and second versions of Sandy share the summon attack of Razzia, which deals moderate fire-elemental damage to all enemies. The third version of Sandy's summon attack is Consuming Mist, which lowers the attack and magic for all enemies for five turns. All versions of Sandy cost 2 bars from the Summon Gauge.

Development[]

The initial Sandy signet from the Japanese free-to-play versions.

In the original free-to-play versions of the game there were two variations of the first version of the Sandy signet, one that taught Reflect abilities, and another variant that taught Magic Boost abilities.

The second version of Sandy that would become exclusive to was originally a unique version known as Neo Sandy (ドグ改, Dogu Kai?, lit. Revised Dogu), which taught Magus Flame abilities.

The third version of Sandy was originally a god-tier fire-elemental summon that taught Razzia abilities. In the premium versions of the game, the latter version of Sandy's Razzia ability was removed and replaced with the Geirskogul ability from the removed Onion Dragoon signet.

All three versions of the signet could only be obtained through the game's summon draw shop.
