Sam's Delivery Service is a delivery service for the slums of Midgar in Final Fantasy VII Remake. The service is run by Chocobo Sam and the various stablehands that work for him. The service provides transportation via chocobo-drawn carriage through the slums where road transportation by car is not possible due to lack of infrastructure. The delivery service has various outposts throughout the slums where prospective passengers can hail a carriage. The main stables are located at Wall Market where Sam makes his abode as one of the influential "trio" who run the entertainment district under Don Corneo.
The player can first observe the carriage in action in Chapter 9, "The Town That Never Sleeps", when Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough spot Tifa Lockhart being taken to Don Corneo's manor. Helping Sam find his wayward birds in the odd job "Chocobo Search" in Chapter 14, "In Search of Hope", lets the party board the carriage in the outposts they unlock for a fast-travel option, and finding all birds gains a lifetime pass to the service. The fast-travel locations will still be free upon returning to the chapter in Chapter Select.
List of outposts[]
Taking the carriage costs 300 gil per ride unless the player has Sam's Delivery Lifetime Pass from the "Chocobo Search" odd job. New outposts are unlocked by finding the wayward birds as part of the quest. The player can then hitch a ride from any outpost to another outpost. The loading screen will be different than normal while riding, with the delivery service logo in the corner .

Behind the scenes[]
The service is based on the brief appearances of the chocobo cart from the original Final Fantasy VII. One was used by Don Corneo to transport captured women to his mansion in the Wall Market. Another was seen near Corel Prison, if the player got lost on the desert; the cart came up and took the party back to the prison entrance.
Cloud opens the similarly named Strife Delivery Service in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children where he delivers goods by his motorcycle.
