Abilities
Famicom version
- Special Ability - White Magic and Black Magic Levels 1 - 8, Summon
The Sage can cast every magic, as well as the high level Summon magic, making them a real threat. MP growth is higher than the Shaman, Warlock, and Summoner, so the Sage effectively makes those classes obsolete.
Remake version
- Special Ability - White Magic and Black Magic Levels 1 - 8, Summon (White or Black)
MP growth is limited, meaning they cannot use the high level magics as much as the Devout, Magus, or Summoner; additionally, they are only capable of using the Evoker versions of Summon Magic.
