Description
Safety Bit is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII that protects the user from Instant Death, Death-sentence, Slow-numb, and Petrify, all statuses that flag the character defeated for Game Over purposes are placing a countdown toward that state.

Use[]
Safety Bit, while providing strong resistances to statuses that can instantly cause game overs, is hardly used from the point it is gotten. Not many enemies outside of the final dungeon will inflict Instant Death, and Death-sentence is even rarer. Petrify and Slow-numb can be protected against via the Ribbon while providing greater resistances. Death can be also protected against with Added Effect and Destruct/Odin in armor, and the Death Force E.Skill.
