Sacrifice (ライフデジョン, Raifu Dejon?, lit. Life Warp), also known as Downsize and Lifetap, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Zidane can use the skill Sacrifice to reduce his HP and MP to zero while fully restoring the other party members' HP and MP. It is learned from the Masamune and Exploda, costs 32 MP to use, and takes 55 AP to master. Zidane will not be removed from battle, leaving the remaining party members free to revive him.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance[]
Downsize is a Warrior ability that reduces a target's HP by 50%. It can be taught from the Restorer weapon.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift[]
Lifetap is a Warrior ability taught from the Restorer once again. Like its predecessor, it reduces the HP of a single target by 50%. Its range can be extended to two enemies if the character performing the attack is equipped with a spear.
