History[]
Early life[]
S'dhodjbi lost her parents during the Calamity, and with nothing else to turn to, she began drinking heavily until it led to her frequently vomiting and passing out. After the Calamity, Baderon Tenfingers gathered some old allies from his mercenary days, along with a few willing adventurers, to search for people who had lost everything, offering them support. One morning, he found S'dhodjbi passed out outside his house and took her in. Baderon helped her clean up and supported her in giving up drinking. S'dhodjbi began assisting with chores at the Drowning Wench and eventually became an employee at the establishment.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn[]
S'dhodjbi, always eager to repay Baderon's kindness, grew concerned that he was so focused on taking care of others that he neglected his own well-being. She noticed that whenever he was drunk, he would often mention aureliae. Believing that he and his old companions had once eaten these creatures from time to time, S'dhodjbi asked the Warrior of Light to help her gather some aurelia umbrellas to give to Baderon. When the Warrior of Light returned with the creatures and delivered S'dhodjbi's gift, Baderon laughed and remarked that he would never forget their smell, as it was the most unpleasant thing he had ever eaten during his days as a mercenary.[1]
S'dhodjbi also grew fearful when rumors about the Slasher of Fisherman's Bottom spread throughout Limsa Lominsa. She explained to the Warrior of Light that the Slasher was said to wield exceptionally long and sharp blades, yet no one had seen any blood spilled. Noticing that the Warrior of Light was unfazed by these rumors, she suggested that they help with the investigation.[2]
