A young girl from a distant world with two moons. Born to a family of summoners in Mist, she lost her mother when the kingdom of Baron, fearing the power of the Eidolons, razed her home. Initially despising Cecil for his role in the attack, she gradually opens up to her new companion upon witnessing his kindness. Carrying the scars from the loss of her village, she matures as a summoner under the gentle care of Cecil and Rosa.

Rydia is a summonable vision and optional playable character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. She serves as a character representative from Final Fantasy IV, and currently has two different variants: "Rydia" and "Pure Summoner Rydia".
Rydia
Rydia is a 3-5★ Rare Summon, whose role is Magic Damage. Her job is listed as Summoner. Originally a max. 4★ unit, Rydia received her awakening during the event The Giant of Babel. She has no innate status ailments or elemental resistances. Her Trust Master reward is the Black Magic spell Blizzaga.
His awakening materials are the following:
- 4★: Pearl of Wisdom x20, Esper Cryst x10, Mystic Ore x8, Farplane Dew x3, Sacred Crystal x3

Pure Summoner Rydia (無垢なる召喚士リディア, Mukunaru Shōkanshi Ridia?, lit. Innocent Summoner Rydia) is a 5-7★ Rare Summon that has been available for summoning since the event Fabul Castle Guard (which originally ran in June 2018). Her job is listed as Evoker, and her role is Magic Damage. She has no innate element or status ailment resistances. Her Trust Master is the Pure-bred Summoner ability materia, which increases the equipped unit's MAG by 40%, SPR by 20%, and EVO MAG by 10%. Her Super Trust Master reward is Rydia's Hair Ornament.
