Rust 'B' Gone (サビトレール, Sabi Torēru?, lit. Rust Remover), also known as Rust-Rid and Oil, is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy Final Fantasy series.

The Rust-Rid is a key item purchasable from the wandering merchant in Zozo during the World of Ruin. It can be purchased for 1,000 Gil. Once purchased, it can be used to open the door on the pub's second floor, allowing the player to enter Mt. Zozo to find Cyan.
Final Fantasy XI[]
The Rust 'B' Gone is an extremely rare item dropped by Shiva during the "Trial by Ice" quest. It is one of the six rare Avatar items needed to complete the "Mama Mia" side quest in Norg.
Final Fantasy Adventure[]
The Oil is a plot item needed to repair the mine carts within the Old Mine dungeon. It costs 500 GP to purchase the item.
Etymology[]
Rust is an iron oxide, usually red oxide formed by the redox reaction of iron and oxygen in the presence of water or air moisture.
"-B-Gone" (read as "be gone") and its variants imply that a chemical substance will reduce, remove or repel some undesirable thing. It is inspired by the industrial pesticides Weed-B-Gon and Bug-B-Gon.
