Rune Armlet is a piece of armor in Final Fantasy VII Remake and "Episode INTERmission". It has good stats, prioritizing magical defense, providing +16 to 
Defense and +62 to 
Magic Defense. It has three materia slots, two of them linked. It is a an excellent piece of armor for magical defense, only second to the astral cuff that has no materia slots.

A rune armlet is a reward for completing "Tifa vs. SOLDIER Trainees" in the Shinra Combat Simulator in Chapter 16, "The Belly of the Beast".
It can also be bought from the Shinra Building shop for 6400 gil and from vending machines thereafter.
In "Episode INTERmission", it is sold in the Sector 7 Slums weapon store and from vending machines thereafter since the beginning of the episode.
Etymology[]
Runes are the letters in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets, which were used to write various Germanic languages before the adoption of the Latin alphabet and for specialized purposes thereafter.
