Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII[]
Ruinga is a non-elemental spell that hits multiple enemies. Its ATB cost is quite low despite being a "-ga" level spell. Ruinga is useful especially if the enemy absorbs or is immune to some element, and while fighting a group. During the final battle, the final boss can cast it up to three times in a row, sometimes alongside Giga-Graviton and, in lower chances, simultaneously.
Ruinga Lv. 3 is a locked ability on the Vigilance garb. It is also dropped by Earth Eater, Meonekton, Sugriva, and Sugriva Ω.
Noel Kreiss uses a spell that looks like Ruinga in a cutscene against the Children of Etro at the Forsaken Graveyard.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Ruin III is a Summoner spell acquired after completing the "A Miner Negotiation" job quest available at level 54. Ruin III deals unaspected damage with a potency of 200. The spell has a cast time of 2.5 seconds and a recast time of 2.5 seconds. Under normal conditions the spell has a prohibitively high MP cost; however, when the player is under the effect of Dreadwyrm Trance, the MP cost is reduced. Following the release of Stormblood, Ruin III can now be cast instantly while in Dreadwyrm Trance.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]
Ruinga I-III are magic attacks available only to Morrow to use. The spells can only be learned from the Lilith signet. All Ruinga spells deal heavy non-elemental magic damage to a single enemy and cost 45 MP to use.
In the original free-to-play versions, Ruinga I-III could be used by any party member equipped with the Lilith signet. Each version of the spell dealt more damage depending on the summon's rank and had increased MP costs.
