Use[]

Ruin deals damage to a single target with no additional effects, providing steady but unimpressive damage. When there are three or more enemies, Outburst Outburst or Art of War Art of War should be used instead. When there is nothing else appropriate to cast, Ruin is the spell to fall back on.

Ruin's cast time is slightly shorter than the 2.5 second global cooldown (GCD), allowing players a short window in which they can use off-global cooldown (oGCD) abilities such as Radiant Aegis Radiant Aegis or Whispering Dawn Whispering Dawn in between spellcasts.
