"Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony" plays during his initiation ceremony in Junon during "The Stowaway Strategy". It is track 11 of disc 2 on the Final Fantasy VII: Original Soundtrack.
It was remastered and released as track 34 on the Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack Revival Disc.

"Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony" was arranged into a number of different arrangements:
- "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - A New Leader" (ルーファウス歓迎式典 -新社長の歌-, Rūfausu Kangei Shikiten -Shin Shachō no Uta-?, lit. Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony -New President's Song-), arranged by Kengo Tokusashi and Mitsuto Suzuki with lyrics written by Motomu Toriyama.
- "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - Seventh, Ten-Hut!" (ルーファウス歓迎式典 -ジュノンのテーマ-, Rūfausu Kangei Shikiten -Junon no Tēma-?, lit. Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony -Junon's Theme-), arranged by Ryo Furukawa. It includes "Shinra's Full-Scale Assault" and "Shinra, Inc."
- "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - Inauguration Parade" (ルーファウス歓迎式典 -祝賀パレード-, Rūfausu Kangei Shikiten -Shukuga Parēdo-?, lit. Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony -Celebration Parade-), arranged by Ryo Furukawa.
- "Commendation Ceremony - The Future Looks Bright" (パレード表彰式 -新たな世界の幕開け-, Parēdo Hyōshōshiki -Aratana Sekai no Makuake-?, lit. Parade Commendation Ceremony -The Beginning of a New World), arranged by Ryo Furukawa with new composition.
They are tracks 8, 9, 11 and 12 respectively on the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack. Only the Japanese version of "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - A New Leader" was released on the album.
An arrangement of it plays during the cutscene when Rufus enters the ring at the Gold Saucer before the boss battle. It has not been officially released.
Final Fantasy IX[]
In Final Fantasy IX, a band on the M.S. Prima Vista plays the theme in the Evil Forest. This version, called "Rufus's Welcome Ceremony (Millennium Version)", is found on the Final Fantasy IX Original Soundtrack PLUS album.
"Rufus's Welcome Ceremony (Millennium Version)" was re-released in MP3 format as track 140 on the Final Fantasy IX Original Soundtrack Revival Disc.
Final Fantasy XV[]
The original Final Fantasy VII version is included in the music player in Final Fantasy XV. It is the eleventh track of the Memories of FFVII album that is available by default.
"Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony" is also available as track 83 on the limited edition Blu-ray disc of the Final Fantasy XV: Original Soundtrack.

The orchestral arrangement of "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony - A New Leader" orchestrated by Kengo Tokusashi was performed live and recorded at the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour concert held on September 8, 2024 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Kanagawa, Japan. It was conducted by Arnie Roth and performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. It is released as track 8 of disc 1 on the album.
