The Rubber Suit (ラバーコンシャス, Rabā Konshasu?, lit. Rubber Conscious) is a recurring piece of armor in the Final Fantasy series. It is usually a female-only light armor that protects against Lightning-elemental attacks.

The Rubber Suit is armor for Dagger, Freya, or Eiko, and provides +2 Evade, +1 Magic Defense, +3 Magic Evade, and blocks Lightning-elemental damage. It teaches Esuna for Eiko and Eye 4 Eye for Freya, and can be synthesized from a Minerva's Plate and an Egoist's Armlet, or stolen from the Earth Guardian.
Final Fantasy XII[]
In the original version, the Rubber Suit is a level 10 light armor that immunizes the wearer to Lightning damage, and adds 700 to HP and 42 to defense. It can be bought from Balfonheim Port for 14,500 gil, and also via the Hunt Club.
In the Zodiac versions, Rubber Suit now provides 53 Defense, +700 HP, makes the wearer immune to Lightning attacks, and requires the Light Armor 11 license for 80 LP. It can be found as a treasure in Cerobi Steppe (North Liavell Hills) and Great Crystal (Sirhru Jilaam Praa'vaa), poached from Abaddon (3% chance) and Bull Abaddon (3%), or from the bazaar for 13,800 gil after selling Prime Pelt x9, Forbidden Flesh x7, and Fire Crystal x8. It is also a rare steal from Adrammelech in Trial Mode Stage 35. It can be equipped by the Machinist, Monk, Archer, and Shikari.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]
Rubber Suit is the second piece of armor available to Fran, which provides +60 Defense and Magick Defense, as well as resistance to Lightning. It can be bought from Tomaj's Sky Saloon shop, or obtained as a reward for completing Mission 8-6.
