Because of his addiction to gambling, he had accepted a reward for the murder of Goncquard. Kokomui dressed up as Senor Sabotender and stealthily poisoned the food. However, the Warrior of Light also deduced that the mastermind of the murder was Roland himself, thus revealing that the whole incident was nothing more than an act.[2]

Ollier has asked the Warrior of Light for help in solving a robbery and clearing Hugue, one of the attendants who has been wrongly accused as the prime suspect. In the lounge, Ollier briefs him on the details of the incident in question. Hugue has become a suspect primarily because of his proximity to the scene of the crime, as well as a prior theft he committed years ago. Ollier, however, remains convinced that the real culprit can be found elsewhere. With Master Roland's blessing, the Warrior of Light conducted an investigation on their own. To expedite their investigation, Ollier handed over a journal that could be used to record any testimony or observations of the crime scene and surroundings.

After the investigations, the Warrior of Light shares his deductions before a tribunal presided over by Ollier, Master Roland, the Captain Daluce. After a series of arguments, it is revealed that the culprit was actually Blass Blade Pipimaya.
