Rodolph
Rodolph is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. He is a seneschal who serves House Thorne and is charged with protecting Aldiytha Thorne, the heiress to the family. He appears during the seasonal event Little Ladies' Day.

Little Ladies' Day 2019[]
With her health improving during the celebration, Aldiytha decided to take the opportunity to distribute her daisies at the celebration. She ran away from home leaving only a note for her butler Rodolph indicating that she would join the festivities. Desperate, Rodolph went out to look for her and asked the Warrior of Light for help. Rodolph consulted the royal seneschal and his network of contacts to help find Aldiytha. They soon find Aldiytha and although Rodolph does his best to convince her to return home, she refuses to agree until she has distributed wreaths of flowers made from the daisies she has grown. Moved by the speech, Rodolph allows the Warrior of Light to accompany Aldiytha as her seneschal until she completes her goal.[1]
After Aldiytha distributed the crowns around the city, she began to cough indicating that she had tried hard enough for one day. She finally agreed with Rodolph that she should return home. Rodolph contacted Fortin Thorne, Aldiytha's father, and asked that a carriage be sent to pick them up. While waiting for the carriage, the royal seneschal asks Aldiytha to share the reason behind her desire to grow and distribute daisies instead of peach blossoms, which are the symbol of the celebration and of the Thorne family itself. Aldiytha tells a story of Sultan Baldric, who, in his kindness, accepted a gift of daisies from a common girl and made them into a pair of matching crowns. Moved by this and by all he has seen throughout the day, Rodolph reaffirms his commitment to serve Aldiytha. He presents her with the flower crowns she deserves, which she happily accepts.[1]
Little Ladies' Day 2023[]
Rodolph appears before Aldiytha and the Warrior of Light within the Gold Court and out of breath. He tells her that her father was worried sick about her leaving the manor unannounced and how they went searching for her whereabouts. He leads them to her father and is there to hear that Aldiytha wanted to learn the tradition of her mother's dance and performs it for all present. Rodolph is amazed by her dance and Aldiytha expresses her wish to teach all the dance and the history behind it to the citizens, her father Fortin accepts as he is reminded of his late wife showing the dance to him.[2]

Rodolph is a midlander Hyur with brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears the Best Man's garb and Archaeoskin Halfboots.
Personality[]
Rodolph is in charge of Aldiytha's well being and if she is missing then he worries immesnely searching high and low for her whereabouts. He cares for her wellbeing because of her health condition, and supports her efforts to spread joy to the community during Little Ladies' Day.
