A young man from a distant world who appears in one of many tales about the ocean of stars. Roddick protects his home on the planet of Roak as a member of Kratus's defense force. Fortunately, Kratus is quite the peaceful village—free of any serious accidents or calamities. Thus Roddick and his comrades usually have very little to do when they gather at their headquarters. However, this peace suddenly comes to an abrupt end as a letter from the neighboring village of Coule arrives.

Roddick Farrence (ラティクス・ファーレンス, Ratikusu Fārensu?, lit. Ratix Farrence) is a playable character and summonable vision in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Part of the collaboration with the Star Ocean franchise (specifically, with Star Ocean -anamnesis-), he represents its first game Star Ocean and its remake Star Ocean: First Departure.
Roddick is a 19-year-old Fellpool warrior from the planet Roak, unwittingly thrust into combat when he and his allies must find a cure for a petrifying virus that decimates his homeworld and attacks his closest friends.

Appearance[]
As a member of the Fellpool species of feline humanoids native to Roak, Roddick possesses some traits of domestic cats, namely short, sharp-edged ears, brightly-colored eyes, and a tail. His hair is blue and looks unkempt, though he keeps it long and in a ponytail at the back. His eyes are aqua in color.
In Anamnesis, Roddick wears a suit of armor with a red-caped cuirass, forearm guards, a midpiece, and metal boots over a dark-brown mail with pink accents.

Roddick is a summonable vision and optional playable character. He is a limited-time 3-5★ Rare Summon obtainable during the raid event Vanquish Jie Revorse! (which originally ran from July 27 to August 9, 2018 in the Global version). Her job is listed as Attacker and his role is Physical Damage. He has no innate element or status ailment resistances. His Trust Master is the accessory Millie's Charm (DEF+8, SPR+8, HP/MP +10%), which increases the equipped unit's resistance to Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light and Dark (all +10%). It also grants the passive Millie's Feelings (increases ATK +30%) when equipped by Roddick.

Omega Thunderclap Blade (七星雷鳴剣, [missing rōmaji]?) is Roddick's Limit Burst. It is a damage and support-type ability, as it deals Lightning-elemental physical damage that partially ignore one enemy's DEF (by 50%), but also mitigates damage taken for one turn to all allies. Depending on his rarity, it mitigates by 15% (3★), by 20% (4★) or by 25% (5★).
Its damage modifier will depend on Roddick's LB level:
