'''Riovanes Castle''' {{j|リオファネス城|Riofanesu-jou}} is the stronghold of [[Gerrith Barrington|Grand Duke Barrington]] in ''[[Final Fantasy Tactics]]''. It is the site of [[Ramza Beoulve]]'s battle with [[Wiegraf Folles|Wiegraf]], who then transforms into [[Belias (Tactics)|Belias]] during a [[Lucavi]] attack on the castle in which [[Hashmal (Tactics)|Hashmal]] goes on a rampage, killing many of the castle's defenders. Barrington himself escapes the carnage, only to be thrown off the roof of his own castle by the [[Ultima Demon]] [[Lettie]] disguised as a human girl, who was in the service of the Lucavi [[Zalera (Tactics)|Zalera]], who had possessed [[Messam Elmdore|Marquis Elmdor]] of Limberry.

== Description ==
Riovanes Castle is the second area to have Chain battles. Here in this castle, three different chain battles are fought. It is also necessary to build up a stock of items and armor before going into this castle.

In the second battle, there are two phases: one is to be fought with only Ramza, the foe is Wiegraf Folles. When 80% of Wiegraf 's HP is lost, he will transform into Belias the Gigas and the second phase will start. In the second phase, the party is brought here when Wiegraf transforms into Belias the Gigas and Archaedemons accompany him. The goal is to defeat the [[Lucavi]].
