Troopers belonging to Shinra's Public Security Division. Protected by a large shield, they specialize in close combat. They are often deployed in urban districts and company installations and used to break up violent demonstrations.

The Riot Trooper is an enemy in that can be fought in the Musclehead Colosseum. They are Shinra infantry equipped with a riot shield and a stun baton. Their shield repels all physical attacks on the frontal side of the enemy.
